During the construction of the railway section from Poteronii railway station around 1894. the viaduct of the strategic highway Alytus–Merkinė–Gardinas over the railway was built. The height of the viaduct called the road bridge is 8.34 m, length - 26.20 m, width - 7.60 m, supports - 21 rows of hewn rectangular stones, from the 15th row the vault is made of yellow bricks.
Included in the Register of Immovable Cultural Values.
